Abstract: Titrations of difluorenylbarium (Ba 2+, F12*-) with polyethylene glycol dimethyl ethers (glymes) and with macrocyclic polyethers (crown ethers) were carried out in THF at 25'under vacuum to determine the stoichiometries and structures of the resuking ion pair- glyme and-crown ether complexes.
