A novel luminescent compound, 9, 9-bis [4′-(β-naphthyl-methacrylate) phenyl] fluorene (F- NMAP) is synthesized by Heck reaction of β-naphthyl methacrylic ester (NMAE) and 9, 9-bis (4′-iodophenyl)-fluorene (BIPF).
