Abstract

Abstract Reactions of VCl 3· 3 THF with RMgX (R Ph, CH 2 SiMe 3, C 6 F 5) in various ratios have been studied. The stable compounds R 3 V· THF (R CH 2 SiMe 3, C 6 F 5) were obtained. The chemical properties of R 3 V· THF, R 4 V· 2 L (R CH 2 Ph, L Et 2 O; R C 6 F 5, L THF) and (Me 3 SiCH 2) 4 V were investigated.
