Abstract

The reduction of imines is one of the most significant and useful methods for preparation of the corresponding amines. 1 Many reduction processes were therefore widely investigated, 2 which include catalytic reduction3 as well as the use of metal hydrides (LiAlH4, NaBH4 or others), 1b, 4 transition metals complexes (such as Ir, 5 Rh, 6 Mo, 7 Ni, 8 Sn, 9 Ti, 10 Ru, 11 Sm12), different boron compounds or complexes13 or metal reduction systems–metal (Na ...
