Abstract

Abstract Thirteen pyrrolidine-based iminosugar derivatives have been synthesized and evaluated for inhibition of α-glucosidase from rat intestine. The compounds studied were the non-hydroxy, mono-hydroxy and dihydroxypyrrolidines. All the compounds were N- benzylated apart from one.
