Abstract: Acetylation of cyclopropane gave four products, 5-chloro-2-pentanone (l), 4-chloro- 3-methyl-2-buta-none (2), and the corresponding unsaturated ketones 3-methyl-3-buten-2- one (3) and 3-chloro-2-pentanone (4).
