Abstract

In 1927 Lyons and Bradt2 reported the results of a study upon the action of selenium dioxide and benzene in the presence of anhydrous aluminum chloride. Di-9-chlorophenyl selenide, diphenyl selenide, diphenyl diselenide and diphenylselenonium dichloride were obtained.
