Abstract

Abstract Reactions of gold phosphane complexes [(AuX)(PR 3)](X= Cl, Br, I; R= organic moiety) with Se (SiMe 3) 2 lead to the formation of gold complexes with chalcogenide bridges. The reaction of the complex [Ph 3 PAuCl] and tBuSe (SiMe 3) gives the cluster [Au 5 Se 2 (PPh 3) 4] Cl (1). The in situ preparation of the complex [(AuCl) 2 dpph][dpph= Ph 2 P (CH 2) 6 PPh 2] by reaction of dpph with [Me 2 SAuCl], and subsequent reaction with Se ( ...
