Abstract

Method A. The benzamidines were prepared by allowing the substituted benzimidoyl chlorides to react with [(dialkylamino) alkoxy] anilines. The resulting benzamidine hydrochlorides were converted to the free base by treatment with ammonium hydroxide. The base was then converted to the desired addition salts.
