Abstract

The ionization potentials of n-propyl, n-, sec-, iso-, and t-butyl radicals have been measured by electron impact on radicals which were generated thermally by the pyrolysis of appropriate alkyl nitrites, and allowed to flow into the ionization chamber of a mass spectrometer.
