Abstract

Whole cells of an Escherichia coli strain that overexpresses Acinetobacter sp. NCIB 9871 cyclohexanone monooxygenase have been used for the Baeyer-Villiger oxidations of a variety of 4-mono-and 4, 4-disubstituted cyclohexanones.
