Abstract A novel β-diketone containing carbazole and 2, 5-diphenyl-1, 3, 4-oxadiazole fragments as hole-and electron-transporting functional groups, respectively, was synthesized via efficient and convenient procedure. The product attracts interest from the viewpoint of its potential applications as optoelectronic material.
