Abstract

In a mixture containing γ-glutamyl donor (donor) and γ-glutamyl acceptor (acceptor), the glutaminase of Pseudomonas nitroreducens IFO 12694 simultaneously catalyzed a γ- glutamyl transfer reaction and hydrolysis of the donor.
