Abstract

A series of competitive reductions of several functional groups was carried out in the presence of aromatic and aliphatic nitriles using Lithium N, N-dimethylaminoborohydride (LiMe2NBH3) or Lithium Pyrrolidinoborohydride (LiPyrrBH3) as the reducing agents.
