Abstract

Many of the most useful methods for the assembly of cyclic organic molecules involve transition-metal-catalyzed cycloaddition. Because aromatic rings are central to many biological, pharmaceutical, and polymer molecules, alkyne cyclotrimerization is an important methodology.
