Abstract

7 conjugative electron delocalization from N to S will be disfavored. The cyclic dithioamino radicals will therefore have smaller g values and smaller hyperfine splittings by 33S than the acyclic dithioamino radicals (as is observed; see Table 11). In addition, because the cyclic radical is less stabilized than the i~cyclic radical by conjugative electron delocalization, it is more reactive.
