Abstract

The title compounds were prepared to investigate their potential as thromboxane synthetase inhibitors as well as antihypertensive agents. Imidazoles VI11 and triazoles X were prepared to examine the effects of aromatic substitution, chain length, and heterocycle substitution upon biological activity.
