Abstract

In solid tumors, when O2 partial pressure drops below 10 mmHg, ATP levels rapidly decrease due to the Warburg effect. It is known that certain macrocyclic polyamines catalyze the chemical hydrolysis of ATP with release of inorganic phosphate.
