Abstract

Enantioselective microbial hydrolysis of C1 and C2 dissymmetrical cyclic carbonates with disubstitution (methyl and another groups) has been developed. Pseudomonas diminuta (FU0090), a bacterium, efficiently catalyzes the hydrolysis of five-membered cyclic carbonates.
