Abstract: The selective copper-catalyzed borylation of silylalkynes in the presence of a diboron reagent and methanol produced a variety of (Z)-β-(borylvinyl) silanes. The appropriate use of a selective ligand for copper allows the chemo-, regio-, and stereoselective monoborylation of silylalkynes.
