Abstract

We have established an efficient method for enzymatic production of cytidine 5′- monophospho-N-acetylneuraminic acid (CMP-NeuAc) from inexpensive materials, N- acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) and cytidine 5′-monophosphate (CMP).
