Abstract An efficient protocol for the one-pot reaction of isatoic anhydride (= 1, 2-dihydro-4H- 3, 1-benzoxazine-2, 4-dione), primary alkylamines, and heterocumulenes (isothiocyanates and isocyanates) in H 2 O catalyzed by magnetically recoverable Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles is described.
