Abstract

The only ClF6+ salts presently known are C1F6PtF6, 1-3 ClF6SbF6, and ClF6AsF,. 4 To improve the energy content of ClF6+ salts, replacement of these relatively heavy nonenergetic MF6-(M= Pt, Sb, As) anions by a lighter one such as BF4-is desirable.
