Abstract

Summary 1. The synthesis of certain N-benzohydrylethanolamines by reaction of benzohydryl bromide with ethanolamines of the type RNHCH2CHzOH has been studied. When R w3s methyl or benzyl the desired N-benzohydrylethanolamines were obtained, but when R was phenyl only ether formation resulted.
