Abstract Trichloro (o-phenylenedioxy) phosphorane reacts with 1, 2- alkadienylphosphonates with selective replacement of the alkoxy group in the phosphinoyl moiety, yielding the corresponding 1, 2-alkadienylchloro-phosphonates and o-phenylene chlorophosphate.
