Abstract

A photochromic phenoxyquinone-based, sensor for aliphatic primary amine was developed. An efficient trans-to-ana photoisomerization was occurred when 6-(4′-methoxyphenoxy)-5, 12-naphthacenequinone in acetonitrile was irradiated with 365nm UV light.
