Acylation of 2-aryl-4, 6-dioxodihydro-l, 3-thiazines with anhydrides of aliphatic acids gives the 2-acyl derivatives, among which were found compounds having the property of removing uric acid from an organism [l]. It was of interest to expand the spectrum of acyl derivatives with the aim of finding new substances instrumental in the removal of uric acid from an organism and producing gout relief activity.
