Abstract

The synthesis and antifungal activity of a novel series of substituted 3, 5-diphenyl-3-(1H- imidazol-l-ylmethyl)-2-alkylisoxazolidine derivatives (15-30) are described. The synthesis of the title compounds was accomplished via a 1, 3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of a- substituted ketonitrones with appropriate styrene precursors.
