Abstract Synthetic procedures for alkanimidoylphosphoryl derivatives with α-hydrogen atoms in the N-alkyl radical are developed. Data on the effect of substituents at the carbon and phosphorus atoms on the facility of prototropic transitions in the C= NC triad are summarized.
