Abstract

Conclusions In summary, we have found that dissociation of the OCS monomer at 222 nm produces both S (3P) and S ('D), that the branching ratio for the former of these two channels is 0.15 f 0.05, and that the CO formed in the dissociation is rotationally excited, peaking at J= 55, but vibrationally cold. Dissociation of OCS clusters had also been observed and produces CO which is rotationally cold (T,,, 50 K) and S2 which is formed by chemical ...
