0.2 mM 6-phosphogluconate,
1 mM MgCl2,
0.1 mM NADP+,
0.5 ug recombinant human 6PGD protein,
and 10 uM compound candidate.

The increase in absorbance at 341 nm was measured using a SpectraMax Plus spectrophotometer (Molecular Devices)
