制备

M.Matsuo将双甲氧甲基苯和对氯甲基氯苄在无水氯化锌存在下，在四氯化碳溶液中发生歧化反应，得到的4-(甲氧甲基)氯苄的收率达70％。
后来顾可权等将双甲氧甲基苯在浓盐酸和50％H2SO4存在下，在甲苯溶液中65～70℃反应2h，冷却分层处理，再进行蒸馏，90～100℃/67Pa馏分为4-(甲氧甲基)氯苄，收率85％～90％。
