富勒烯核对电子供体的高亲和力决定了其清除自由基的能力。另一方面,C60分子能够有效吸收紫外光和可见光,并进一步过渡到第一个单重态激发态,然后过渡到长寿命的三重态激发态,随后能量转移到分子氧,产生单重态氧,量子产率接近100%[1]。
