过氧化氢酶,一种代谢过氧化氢的酶,但也与许多其他底物发生反应。过氧化氢酶的活性部位含有一个铁原子。人过氧化氢酶包含四个相同的亚基,每个亚基包含四个不同的结构域和一个人工血红素基。这四个结构域包括：(1)含有末端组氨酸(过氧化氢酶反应所必需的氨基酸)的N-末端臂；(2)含有八个β-桶的β-桶结构域,八个β-桶以反平行方式排列,六个α-螺旋插入,赋予蛋白质三维结构所必需的疏水核心酶；(3)含有结合血红素基的酪氨酸残基的连接结构域；最后(4)α-螺旋结构域,这对NADPH结合很重要[1]。
