精氨酸酶

精氨酸酶用途

是催化水解L-精氨酸生成鸟氨酸与尿素的反应的酶。EC3．5．3．1。亦作用于具有游离胍基与羧基的刀豆氨酸、真蛸碱等物质。一般含于产生尿素的动物（哺乳类、板鳃鱼类、两栖类、海龟类）的肝脏、肾脏、精巢中，作为尿素循环的一个环节而起作用。硬骨鱼类虽具有精氨酸酶，但不能形成尿素。同一种动物雄性的脏器比雌性的酶活性高。在肝细胞的核里特别多，也含于植物的种子、酵母和霉菌中。可为Fe2+、Co2+、Mn2+等二价金属离子所激活，而Hg+、Ag+、柠檬酸和硼酸等可使之失活。另外可为赖氨酸、鸟氨酸所抑制。
