香茅油

香茅油用途

是重要的天然香料之一，很早就直接用作肥皂香料，近年来这种用法已不多见。其主要用于单离香茅醛和香叶醇，以进一步合成香茅醇、羟基香茅醛、玫瑰醇、薄荷脑等多种重要香料。

割取爪哇香茅(Cymbopogon winterianus或Andropogon nardus)或斯里兰卡香茅(C.nardus Rendle)地上草(或晒得半干),采用水蒸气蒸馏法提油,得油率0.4%～1.4%。
