钛粉制备

1.工业上制造钛的原料主要是金红石矿或高钛渣(含TiO2 92%以上)。在生产过程中把精制四氯化钛在稀有气体气流中用镁或钠还原,可制得海绵钛。

镁还原蒸馏法将高钛渣与石油焦按100∶(30~33)配比进行配料,经破碎至160目以下,送入沸腾床氯化炉,氯气由炉底通入,均匀进入炉体反应段,与高钛渣和石油焦的混合物料进行反应,反应温度为850 ℃左右。生成的四氯化钛气体由炉顶排出,进入两个串联的隔板除尘器,使四氯化钛气体中混杂的三氯化铁、二氯化铁、二氯化锰、三氯化铝等高沸点物沉积在隔板除尘器底部。气体再进入两组串联的冷凝器,将四氯化钛气体冷却到136 ℃以下,得到粗四氯化钛溶液。通过浮阀塔蒸馏将其中的四氯化硅等低沸点物蒸馏除去。然后在铜屑塔釜中加热到140 ℃,气化的四氯化钛通入铜屑塔中,所含杂质三氯氧钒被铜还原为钒的低价氯化物。从塔顶排的精制四氯化钛气体,在稀有气体流中于900 ℃左右与镁进行还原反应,制得海绵钛。

2.金属镁还原四氯化钛。按摩尔比将四氯化钛在惰性气体中用金属镁还原,反应温度控制在900℃左右,可制得海绵状钛。副产品氯化镁可通过在133×10-2~133×10-4Pa真空、加热1000℃的条件下从钛中分离出来。

3.四氯化钛与金属钠反应而制得钛。随后用稀盐酸抽提以除去副产物氯化钠。
