其制备方法是将2，2，3，3-四甲基环丙烷羧酸乙酯、催化剂、氢氧化钠、乙醇和水加入反应釜中，搅拌下升温回流8～10h，蒸出乙醇，加水稀释，趁热抽入酸化釜中，加酸酸化得白色结晶，过滤即得成品。
