1.苯、乙醇、水三元共沸法　将固体氢氧化钠溶于乙醇和纯苯溶液中（或环己烷和乙醇溶液中），加热回流，通过塔式反应器连续反应脱水，使总碱量和游离碱达到标准为止。塔顶蒸出苯、乙醇和水的三元共沸混合物，塔底得到乙醇钠的乙醇溶液。

2.金属钠法　由金属钠与无水乙醇作用而得。
