油红O是一种脂溶性二唑染料,最大吸收波长为518nm。油红O染色中性脂质和胆固醇酯,但不染色生物膜。油红O可用于检测和定量小鼠肝活检中的肝脂肪变性。油红O染色有助于有效地观察代谢疾病发生和进展时组织中发生的根本变化[1]。
