【用途一】
用于制造各种陶瓷、光学玻璃、荧光粉、激光材料和耐火材料,用作一氧化碳与氢合成乙烷的催化剂
【用途二】
用作荧光粉、磁性材料的添加材料
【用途三】
主要用于制造单晶、钇铁柘榴石、钇铝钕柘榴石等复合氧化物,这些复合氧化物由于高频性能好,可作为微波用磁性材料及军事通讯工程用的重要材料。也可用作高级光学玻璃添加剂制高温透明玻璃、陶瓷材料添加剂、x光增感屏稀土荧光粉、大屏幕电视用高亮度荧光粉和其他显像管涂料。此外还用于制造薄膜电容器和特种耐火材料,以及高压水银灯、激光、储存元件等的泡磁区材料。
【用途四】
制造红外线光谱仪中光源。乙炔灯和煤气灯的纱罩。彩色电视管荧光体。氧化锆耐火材料稳定剂。荧光粉。人造宝石激光晶体、超导材料以及电子工业方面的许多尖端应用。

氧化钇制备

1.萃取法分解褐钇铌矿所得混合稀土含Y20350%和CeO2约4%,以除铈后的硝酸稀土溶液进料,采用N263-LiNO3体系萃取分组得富钇稀土,经酸溶后再以N263-重溶剂-NH4SCN体系萃取提纯钇,分组后的萃余液为富钇稀土,经直接浓缩、过滤、灼烧,制得氧化钇。其反应方程式如下:


2.金属钇的纳米颗粒根据下列方程式由碱金属的均一还原法制取。得到的副产物在室温下用碳酸洗涤除去。在洗涤过程中,金属钇被氧化成Y2O3,产物使用离心机洗涤分离(15500×G)。

原料:无水YCl3,99.99%纯,不需要进一步纯化。冠醚(15-冠-5,98%),需要干燥,真空蒸馏进一步纯化。THF(99.94%HPLC级试剂)与KNa合金一起搅拌直到获得稳定的蓝色溶液。反应装置置于充满N2的干燥箱(<1×10-6H2O,O2)中,溶剂转移使用真空线(133.322×10-6Pa)技术,大气环境下在管式炉中使用铝土燃烧舟进行退火。

3.高于410℃温度下,在热天平[68]中加热分解草酸钇,加热速率为每分钟5.4℃。

4.环烷酸盐酸体系溶剂萃取法 处理独居石,将其富含钇稀土(约含Y2O370%)的精矿为原料,配制成0.8mol/L的RECl3,pH=2~3的氯化稀土溶液作为料液,采用环烷酸混合醇煤油溶液自盐酸介质中萃取提纯钇。
