在四口烧瓶中加入丙烯酸140 g，在搅拌状态下再加入1，4-丁二醇100g然后分别加甲苯150mL、对苯二本酚1g。加热升温，20min后加对甲苯磺酸5g湿度控制在80℃以下。以后每20min取一次样，用IR监测反应情况。反应约4h后，分不器出不量达到理论值的80％左右，停止加热。冷却，用水洗涤产物至PH值接近中性。将产物倒入减压蒸馏装置中，先常压蒸馏脱溶剂，然后减压蒸馏提纯粗产物。收集66.7Pa、123℃时得到的微黄色透明液体即为1,4-丁二醇二丙烯酸酯
