Potassium Cetyl Phosphate is a long-chain phosphate salt with the molecular formula: C16H34KO4P and CAS number 19035-79-1. It is usually in the form of white powder, has good emulsification and dispersibility, can be used in a wide pH range, and is suitable for slightly acidic pH formulas for the skin.


Potassium cetyl phosphate has many uses in cosmetics:

‌1) Moisturizing and nourishing: It can retain moisture in the skin, reduce dryness and tightness, and form a protective layer to prevent moisture evaporation;

‌2) Emulsifier: In products such as lotions and creams, potassium cetyl phosphate can be used as a primary emulsifier or auxiliary emulsifier to provide excellent emulsification and stable thermal stability;

‌3) Solubilizer: In medical cosmetics, it can increase the solubility of medicinal ingredients and fragrances;

‌4) Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, whitening and anti-sensitive: Potassium cetyl phosphate has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, whitening and anti-sensitive effects, which can help the skin stay young, fade spots, and relieve inflammation and sensitive symptoms.
