Product name: Urea Formaldehyde Resin Powder Synonyms: UF resin powder; UFR powder CAS No.: 9011-05-6 Molecular Formula: (CH4N2O CH2O)x Deion: Urea Formaldehyde Resin Powder is one of binders special for woodworking processing. It owns high bonding strength, low formaldehyde content as well as ideal water resistance. This powder is suitable for the cold pressing and hot pressing process. Specification: Appearance: White powder, free flowing Moisture Content, 2h at 105 deg C, %: 2-4 Fineness, 100 mesh, %: 10 max. Viscosity, LVT at 25 deg C, mPa.s: 2000-5000 Free Formaldehyde, %: 0.9 max. pH value: 7-9 Application: It is used as binder for the processing of plywood, particle board, MDF & HDF, multi-ply wood engineer flooring and the other wood production.
Usage: A) Wood pretreatment The water content of wood should be controlled at about 8%. Surface treatment to Wood should be taken before curing. B) Glue preparation Glue Ratio: UF resin powder : Water =1 : 0.5 Dissolving method: Firstly put 65% water into mixer, and then add UF resin powder, stir the mixture under the speed of 50-150 rpm until the glue is homogeneous, add the balance water, stir for 3-5 minutes, get white and fine emulsion glue. C) Gluing operation Glue spreading dosage: 200-300g/m2 Forcing conditions: The forcing conditions vary from wood type and temperature normally. Packing: 20kg bag; 25kg bag; 14mt/FCL with pallets; 17mt/FCL without pallets. Storage & Safety: A) Shelf life: 1 year under temperature lower than 30 deg C. B) The goods should be stored in a dry, ventilated place. Avoid direct sunshine and moisture. C) The package should be sealed tightly after use. D) Avoid contact with eyes.
