Results Peroxide-or azonitrile-induced addition at 80-150'of iodoperfluoroalkanes to unsaturated acids proved to be far superior to thermally or ultraviolet light-induced reactions.” The initial adduct was obtained in excellent yield and high conversion in a short reaction time; those listed in Table I were distilled or crystallized.
