Abstract In this study, 13 different chiral 1, 3-diamines were synthesized from (−)-cis-2- benzamidocyclohexanecarboxylic acid. They were successfully applied as ligands in the Cu- catalyzed asymmetric Henry reaction between benzaldehyde and nitromethane.
