Abstract Fluorination of 1, 3-dicarbonyl derivatives with N-fluorobis [(perfluoroalkyl) sulfonyl] imides,(CF 3 SO 2) 2 NF (1), results in the formation of 2-fluoro-or 2, 2-difluoro-1, 3- dicarbonyl analogs, depending on the reaction conditions.
