摘要

A convenient synthesis of sulfonic esters from thiols and disulfides has been described. In situ preparation of sulfonyl chlorides from thiols is accomplished by oxidation with Chloramin- T, tetra-butylammonium chloride (t-Bu4NCl) and water.
