Convenient synthesis of arylpropargyl aldehydes and 4-aryl-3-butyn-2-ones from arylacetylenes and amide acetals

摘要

The reaction of arylacetylenes and N, N-dimethylformamide dimethylacetal (, DMF-DMA) afforded the corresponding arylpropargyl aldehydes in moderate yields. Similarly, the reaction of and N, N-dimethylacetamide dimethylacetal (, DMA-DMA) gave 4-aryl-3-butyn-2- ones.
