摘要

The isomerization of the dihalobutanes other than the 1, 4 isomer in the presence of AlCl3 to give 2, 2-dimethylindanone under the Friedel-Crafts conditions used is reconcilable with an observation made by Sommer'that 1, 3-dibromobutane is isomerized at 25" by A1Br3 to form a mixture of 1, 2-, 2, 3-, 2, 2-, 1, l-, and 1, 3-dibromobutanes with only traces of 1, 4- dibromobutane.
